Homemade hummus makes a great snack or a quick lunch. Have it with vegetable sticks made from carrots, celery, cucumber and bell peppers for even more nutritional benefits.
Ingredients:*
- 100 gram Tahini Ligt (you can use the dark one as well, but personally prefer light one for hummus)
- 50 gram Extra Virgin Olive Oil1 cup Chickpeas x 1 cup
- pinch of Himalayan Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/3 lemon juice
- 1/3 cup Water, filtered
*Use organic ingredients whenever possible
Preparation:
- Drain the chickpeas
- Place all ingredients in a blending container and blend until smooth
