Pharma Nord: How to support your body and mind in stressful times

Most of us can relate to stress, anxiety and low mood. Not only they can be quite hard to deal with, but stress and worry can also affect us physically, lowering our immunity for example.

With a few simple techniques and appropriate supplements, it’s possible to not only mitigate the effects of stress & anxiety, but help reduce their impact on our physical wellbeing too.

In this webinar, we will discuss about stress, anxiety and the difference between the two, as well as the key, evidence-based, psychological and nutritional tools we have available.

Eileen Hopkins has a 30 years career working as a nurse. In all that time, she was always at her happiest when interacting with patients. After a rather challenging period in her personal life a few years ago she realised she needed a change. She took early retirement from her Nursing Career in 2015 and trained as a professional Life Coach with the Irish Life Coach Institute and as a Psychotherapist with PCI College in Dublin.

Michelle Kelly is Training Co-Ordinator with Pharma Nord Ireland. She holds a first class honours degree in Biological Sciences along with an MSc in Human Nutrition and Metabolism. She is a registered Nutritional Therapist and ran a clinic in Galway where nutrition advice and guidelines were provided to clients with numerous requirements including weight loss, diabetes care and heart health.
