Wednesday 2nd February – Stinging Nettle
Some of the everyday plants that we see in our gardens and fields which nature has provided as therapeutic foods for centuries are now somewhat forgotten and much overlooked as highly fortifying and nutrient rich foods by current generations. Common Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is one such example, a superior leafy green plant, nutrient dense due to its shady growing position in rich soil which is normally given a wide berth. This webinar will discuss Nettle’s constituents and look at its nutritive and therapeutic properties.
